Jasim, 30, who was critically injured in front of the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) Hospital, died while undergoing treatment.
Police rescued him early on Tuesday (June 21) and took him to (DMCH) Hospital. He later died at 8:30 a.m. in Ward No. 100.

Confirming the death, Abdullah Khan, assistant in-charge (ASI) of the police camp at DMC Hospital, said, “In the morning, the police constable on duty saw a man lying in front of the emergency department with serious injuries and rushed him to the hospital.” .He later died while undergoing treatment. Initially we thought someone left him here after he was injured in a road accident. The body has been kept in the morgue of the emergency department of the hospital.
