Captain Naushad Qayyum, a Biman Bangladesh Airlines pilot who suffered a heart attack in the air, died while on life support.
Chairman of the Bangladesh Airline Pilots Association (BAPA) Captain Mahbubur Rahman confirmed the incident on Monday (30 August).
At about 11 am Monday morning the pilot’s ventilation system was removed and doctors pronounced him dead. captain Nawshad
suffered a heart attack in the air on 27 August and a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Nagpur Airport, India.
